Teaching Topic: Work as Worship “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23–24 (NIV) If you’ve ever wondered whether your work really matters to God, or how faith connects to the grind of everyday life, this morning is for you. Mark Dunbar will be sharing a relatable talk on "Work as Worship," shaped by his own life journey. He grew up as a kid overseas and learned early what it looked like to follow God in real life. Along the way, God began to form in him a deep passion to help people see that faith isn’t just something we practice on Sundays - it’s something we live out all days of the week. Whether you love your job, feel stuck in it, or are still figuring things out, you’ll be encouraged to see how what you do every day can become meaningful, purposeful, and even an act of worship to God. You don’t need to know the Bible, have it all together, or even be sure what you believe. Just come hungry, grab breakfast, and join a group of guys learning how to follow Jesus together. Following Jesus was never meant to be a solo journey. This ongoing, coed group is a space to learn what it looks like to follow Jesus together. Each week, we’ll return to the Scripture preached on Sunday and sit with it again—listening, reflecting, and helping one another notice how God’s Word meets us in everyday life. In conversation with one another, we learn not just what the text says, but how it shapes how we live. Our time together follows a simple, shared rhythm: * Two worship songs to help us settle in and turn our attention toward God. * A facilitated conversation led by Loren and Delight, where we make observations from the passage and learn from one another’s perspectives. * Prayer together, trusting God with what we’re becoming. * Light snacks and time to be present with one another. No Bible knowledge or church background is required. Whether you’re just beginning to explore faith or have been following Jesus for years, this group is designed for growth together. This group is open to men and women. Nursing babies are welcome. At this time, due to the absence of childcare, this will be a kid-free group. Come as you are. Bring your Bible, your questions, and your willingness to walk with others as we learn to follow Jesus—together.
